Efe Ambrose signs with a Scottish team

 

Efe Ambrose, a former Celtic defender, has joined Greenock Morton in the Championship after working out with Hamilton Accies, a rival team.

The 34-year-old, who has

also played for Livingston, St. Johnstone, Hibs, and Dunfermline, had been keeping up his fitness at New Douglas Park throughout the summer, and Accies manager John Rankin had made it clear time and time again that they had no intention of signing him.

After aiding the Nigerian's fitness, a rival team in their division, which is eight points better than last-place Accies, has since signed him. He will now face the South Lanarkshire team when they next meet in January.
