The Dangote Cement facility in Obajana, Kogi State, has been ordered to reopen with
immediate effect by President Muhammadu Buhari. While presiding over the National Security Council (NSC)
meeting on Friday in the Council Chambers of the State House in Abuja, Buhari
issued the order.
After the meeting, General Lucky Irabor, the CDS, and the
Minister of Police Affairs, Mohammed Dingyadi, along with his Interior
counterpart Rauf Aregbesola, briefed the media.
Aregbesola stated that the Kogi State Government and Dangote
Group had achieved an understanding of the necessity of reopening the cement
factory, and he urged both sides to uphold the understanding.
The minister said, "The council ordered the factory's

government was dedicated to creating jobs."
