Actor Alex Ekubo said that while Nigerians commemorate the second anniversary of the EndSARS lekki tollgate shooting, "Lekki tollgate should be free. We paid with our blood."

 

Actor Alex Ekubo has asked for the renaming of the Lekki Tollgate in honor of the lives killed on that day and that it should

also be toll-free as Nigerians commemorate the second anniversary of the EndSARS lekki tollgate shooting, which happened on October 20, 2020.

This morning, Ekubo announced the decision in a post on his Instagram page. He posted a picture of the anti-police brutality demonstration and wrote:

"I still maintain, Lekki Toll plaza shLekki Tollgate Should Be Free, We Paid with Our Blood''
