President Buhari promises to leave behind a Nigeria free of insecurity.

President Buhari has guaranteed Nigerians once more that he will pass on a country free of insecurity to the following leadership in 2023.

 At the 2022 National Honors Award Investiture held at the International Conference Centre in Abuja on Tuesday, October 11, the President provided the assurance.

Before leaving office in May 2023, Buhari promised that his administration would put an end to all types of banditry, crime, terrorism, and insurgency.

"We will keep eradicating all types of insurgency, terrorism, criminality, and banditry from the country.

The next generation of leaders will inherit a Nigeria free of insecurity, as I promised previously in my state of the nation address," President Buhari remarked.

The national honors, in the words of the president, "must always endeavor to do our best for our country," since they serve as more than just ornamentation.
